Background
Kyrie Welsh signed her 4 year old daughter Aubrey up for Irish dance on a whim, hoping that it would be something her daughter would enjoy. Little did she know that through her daily practice time at home with her kids, her daughter and her son would become the youngest and quickest to move up to Preliminary Championships in Hooley Irish Dance history (Aubrey in 1 year, and Colten in 3 months!).
Kyrie dedicates her time and her living room to helping her children live their passion and meet their Irish dance goals. They wake up dancing or talking about Irish dance, and they end their days in the same way. Her children placed 1st and 2nd in the 2024 Regional Oireachtas U7 traditional set competition at the ages of 4 and 5 years old, making her daughter the Regional Champion.
Kyrie has an education background and spends her days working as a kindergarten instructional aide and substitute teacher at her local school district. She creates a supportive and inspiring environment at school and dance by helping students embrace the fun and discipline of learning. Kyrie is so excited to be a part of your child’s Irish dance journey.
