Background

Born and raised in Lancaster County, Savana has danced with Hooley from Beginner to World Qualifier. She continues to train and compete while assistant teaching here at Hooley, getting the best of both worlds! Savana believes being a dancer has made her a better person. It has taught her resilience, mental strength, faith, and resourcefulness. She is especially passionate about the athletic component of dance and enjoys experimenting with cross training to create a more powerful performance.


Achievements:

Began dancing recreationally at age 8

National Qualifying at her 1st Regional Championships

World Qualifying at her 3rd Regionals

Captured a podium spot at her 4th Regionals in 2021

Completed all 12 Grade Exams with A’s

Earned multiple IDTANA scholarships

Performed onstage with bands such as Gaelic Storm and Irish Blessing


Education/Certificates

Completed all 12 CLRG Grade Exams

Red Cross certified in 1st aid, CPR, and lifeguarding

Currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Allied Health Technology with a concentration in Sports Medicine from Millersville University


Activities

Savana enjoys: hiking, traveling, reading, running, swimming, lifting and other physical challenges. She is involved with her church and works as a lifeguard and pool manager.


Goals

Savana strives to help each dancer become the best person they can be on the road to reaching their goals. She hopes to inspire and encourage others to never give up. Savana plans to pursue her TCRG when she retires from dancing competitively, and eventually hopes to sit her ADCRG exam and adjudicate competitions.
